Graffiti Removal
The Birkenhead Northcote Community Facilities Trusts Graffiti Removal Programme has officially been in operation since 1990, and is seen as one of the successful programmes that continue to keep a community free of tagging.
The Trust will maintain a tag free Birkenhead and Northcote community for both residents and visitors at all times.

- This community project undertakes its work within the framework of a community development model of work, which in turn creates and promotes community health and wellbeing and increases community pride.
- The work undertaken within the main thrust of the Graffiti Removal Project includes the smart and efficient removal of tagging on private fences/walls, the local shopping areas, clubs and organisations facilities and the transformers and power pole facilities. This removal will be undertaken within a 24 hour period ( weather permitting).
- The removal process to be undertaken of the evident Tagging/Graffiti is to be aesthetically pleasing to the naked eye.
- Permission will be attained from resident or commercial area - for any work that requires specialised paint for the removal process.
- The Graffiti Removal Project will change its pattern of work to meet the ever changing cycles of tagging and we include in this programme the installation of specific variable murals on local targeted walls.
- The Graffiti Removal Project will be a community/public partnership project at all times.
